Obelisk Football Club was formed in 1975
When a group of residents started to meet up for a kick about,this progressed into playing friendlies and resulted in us joining The Sunday Alliance in 1979.
The club success have been league & Cup double in and promotion & runners up in 1982 the cup the year after.
Enjoyment of the game and fair play was & still the main criteria,It was felt by the management this was best served by joining the Sunday conference in 2002 who's beliefs mirrored our own.
Since joining the conference in 2002 we have had limited success in the form of runners up in the Alan Dimmer Memorial, trophy in 2005 so far.
The club prides itself on the fact many of the founding members are still involved with the club at all levels making Obelisk one of the best run teams in the league.
