Abbeymead Rovers as a club is now 12 years old having previously started out as hucclecote at King George V playing fields.
It has now become one of the largest clubs in the county boasting approx 500 members. The Club gained Charter Standard a couple of seasons ago and has since gained Community Charter Standard and in 2010 wo0n the GFA award for Charter Standard Club of the Year.
With kids starting as young as 5 the club boasts age groups from U6 through to U15 and Senior mens with girls from U8 to U14 with a thriving Ladies Section. The club has just held its ninth hugely successful Annual six a side tournament along with yet another fantastic whole club presentation evening.
