The club was founded in 1991 by pupils of Edmonton County School. The chief
founder was Chris Sprosson who managed the team for 10 years. The name
'accies' comes from achedemicals although most have since left!.
The accies played in the Edmonton and District League, winning 2 successive
promotions in 2000/2001. They have also appeared in 5 cup finals being
successful winners on 2 occassions.
They have since moved to the Mercury Waltham (Sunday) Football League
(2004-5)
The current squad consists of 19 players with Dan Smith as the current club
captain and Neil McManus newly appointed manager (September 2005)
Previous players include: The Dorward brothers, Neil 'Bulldozer' Sherlock,
Martin Eyre(Mitch), Kevin Sheehan,Mark Smith, Jason Joyce and Pip (Robert
King).
