Duggin signs for Addison not Shepley!!!
15 Aug 2007

Steve Duggin has signed for Addison. We recieved a call from him last night saying that he couldn't believe Shepley had him down as a player,Steve said he had played a couple of games for them as his brother-in-law is a member, but never had any intention of signing. He has just returned from holiday and was shocked to see himself as "the signing of the season",even though he didn't sign a form.Steve has asked the Shepley manager to remove him from there list with immediate effect. The Addison chairman also wanted to praise the anonymous e-mailer for there comments as this was also a factor,as Steve saw this as a way of him being used to cause trouble.Duggin came over and put pen to paper last night to confirm his commitment to our ever growing squad of talented players.

Anonymous e-mailer.

After posting the item about Steve Duggin leaving Addison and moving to Shepley I recieved an ANONYMOUS message ranting about myself and the team in general.I think i have hit a nerve with somebody, even though i am only stating that i found it strange he would move to a team he has slagged off in the pub,the other lads thought it strange too are they to be slagged off by the mystery e-mailer?(take a look at the forum SHEPLEY UNITED PAGE 2,which backs up my statement). If only people would be straight with each other the world would be a nicer place.Nevermind, we will see how it goes in the future......

Duggin slags off Shepley then signs for them.

I heard that Steve Duggin had signed for Shepley the other day and thought it was odd.The reason for that was the fact that he had openly slagged the team off with references of muppets, star wars bar & Addison rejects. The fact that he has left is not a problem,we now have the strongest squad in the 5 years it has run, with a great commited goalkeeper,4 strikers and midfield and defence with plenty of cover.I just wonder what is being said about us now he has moved on to the team he said were "Muppets"...
