Lazers...the first 12 months

Spring 2009 and a group of keen Reception boys started attending Tuesday night training sessions at Fairview organised by Adlington JFC.
The sessions were initially coached by Mick Duddle and Darren Cadman. Due to the good response and turnout, a couple of interested dads (Simon Mitchell and Martin Thompson) agreed to take on the training of the boys with the intention of taking a team into the Bolton & Bury District Junior Football League for the 2010/11 season.
Simon and Martin subsequently completed their FA Level 1 coaching badges and with a years training behind them the Lazers were born and got ready to take on their first League campaign, in Section C of the BBDJFL Under 7's division...
