Player Ratings Notice

Please note that player ratings will not be issued following AFC Chester matches on this website (or anywhere else for that matter) with immediate effect.

It has been agreed between myself and Mike that the awarding of a rating out of ten can have a detrimental effect on the team and individuals which is the reason that we have come to this decision.

This website uses the player ratings to update the squad statistics page so from now on EVERY player will be issued a statutory rating of seven out of ten for every match regardless of how well thay may have played or even if they have come on a sub or been substituted, sent off etc.

The only difference to this will be the awarding of a rating of eight out of ten to the person that is awarded the man of the match award.

A list of those who still owe subs and dont will soon be added on to here, recently a few players have brought themselves up to date however a few still owe please see Mike G and reveal your status we have a player who shares his feelings - 'if everyone pays we can look at a new kit' says striker jordon sands!
