Last game of the season and of no real importance to either team. The boys started much better than St Joes with plenty of good possession and creating good chances which they once again failed to convert.

Then after 15 mins St Joes had a corner headed in at the far post to give them a 1 - 0 lead. Kempston responded well and created more chances with some great football and when Kurtis was set away on the right he cooly lobbed their keeper from outside the box to make it 1 - 1 at half time.

The start of the second half saw St Joes giving us all sorts of problems and but they were unable to convert their chances. On a breakaway Kurtis was once again set away and once again he lobbed their keeper from outside the box. The boys came more into the game after the goal and created another couple of half chances with good moves, Liam particularly unlucky with a good strike well saved.

With 10 mins to go St Joes abandoned trying to play through us and went very direct with long balls back to front. Unfortunately two of these huge punts were not dealt with and resulted in a 3-2 defeat.

All credit is deserved by the team for the way they played throughout this match and on another day it might have been a different story, but as they say Thats Football.
