What a game this one was. In the cup Biggleswade won 4 nil which flattered them, but this was different. First half was about even but were 2 nil down at the break, with Sapphires missing 3 superb chances and how they were kicking themselves. Start of second half saw Sapphires pour forward only to get caught on the break and go 3 nil down. However there heads did not drop and forward again they went. Emma was superb and scored the first with a fierce drive, then suddenly Sapphires scored again through Nadia after a superb ball through by Maddie. It was all Sapphires and again we missed another sitter before Biggleswade hit us on the break to make it 4 - 2. Sapphire still hadn-t given up, going forward time and time again, which resulted in Erica scoring a third. 4 -3 and Biggleswade were praying for the whistle. It was just one way traffic with us missing yet another great oppurtunity, then the whistle blew. Oh for another 5 mins, what a game. Girls you should be proud of yourselves.
