Heath Panthers 3
AFC Kempston Colts Sapphires 1
Ashlea (1)

Well we knew it was only a matter of time and it happened on what was Andrea & James last match as managers, the Sapphires scored their first of what we hope to be many goals.

This match was changed around due to the pitch at Heath not being playable.

The game started and the teams seemed evenly matched but it was Heath that made the breakthrough scoring the 1st goal. The Sapphires kept going and their perseverance soon paid dividends because Ash scored a goal, from the crowds reaction you would have thought it was the winning goal in the Cup Final but so what it was the 1st goal of the season and the cheers were well deserved.

The general feeling was the girls could go on and monopolise this game but unfortunately Heath scored again just before the half time interval.

The second half started and the Sapphires were not in the game and unfortunately Heath took advantage and scored straight from the Kick off.

The Sapphires never gave up and they had chances to score themselves in the second half but unfortunately they did not manage to score again.

The game finished 3-1 in Heaths favour.
