AFC LEXDEN

AFC Lexden was formed in 2005 by Keith Tucker and Jonathan Walton. They play in the Colchester Sunday League, Division 3.

They came third in Division 5 in their first season and then won the title in 2006/07. They have also reached the final of the Ernie Osbourne Cup two years in a row, but the cup still eludes them. Another promotion in 2007/08 sees them in division 3, under the charge of new manager, Andrzej Buda.

The club colours are red shirts, black shorts, with white socks. The away colours are blue shirts and shorts, with white socks. Although the club is NOT Lexden Saints reformed, there are certain members of the squad with links to the Saints.
