Cray Wanderers & NB Reserves as a team have existed for many years, but it was the beginning of season 2006/2007 that the transformation came about.
The start of season 2006/7 three young men, namely Chris Ojo, Ray Peprah, & Guner Yusuf decided to take on the task of transforming a underperforming team into a real unit.
The managers refreshed the team, dispensing with the old and in with the new.
After being promoted to the premier division at the end of season 2006/7 in the Bromley & District league, Cray W/NB decided to defect from Bromley & District league to the Kent County league, Division 2 west in search of a new challenge.
In their first season they struggled due to a lack of quality and depth in the team, as well as the jump in quality of their opposition. By the end of season 07/08 the management team parted ways with Guner Yusuf, leaving only Chris Ojo & Ray Peprah.
The beginning of season 08/09 saw Cray Wanderers & NB change their name, to AFC Sevenoaks due to a affiliation with Kent League premier team, Sevenoaks Town. This ended their affiliation with Rymans outfit Cray Wanderers, and so saw AFC Sevenoaks home ground move from the Cray Wanderers reserve home ground in Sidcup, to Sevenoaks Town place of residence in Greatness Park, Sevenoaks. Due to the change in home ground the Kent County League committee saw fit to move AFC Sevenoaks from the West division to the east division where they reside till now.
Season 08/09 saw AFC Sevenoaks finish 5th after what started as a promising season but due to injuries, and a small squad saw their title hopes fade mid season. As well as finishing 5th they were able to progress to 3 quarter finals in 3 cup competitions.
Season 09/10 has seen the Oaks start well hoping to gain promotion as well as progress to at least one cup final.
