Welcome to the 'The Villargers', a website dedicated to the newly formed Sunday League Side AFC Southchurch.

AFC Southchurch were created over the early months of 2007 and were elected to the Southend Sunday League for the forthcoming 2007/2008 season. AFC Southchurch boast the nickname of 'The Villargers' as a tongue in cheek gesture to the recent re-naming of the Southend East area to Southchurch Village.

AFC are a side formed with the intention of re-uniting friends and keeping them socialy in touch with each other aswell as commiting to regular participation in a huge common passion in our lives...Football.

Bring on the Banter, The Beers and of course the Footy!

AFC will aim to go from strength to strength over the coming season and experience and tackle all kinds over the year.
