how we ever lost this game no-one knows we played them off the park with their defence having to work their socks off and our goalkeeper having to make just one save the entire game. they scored with a fluke goal that saw their player hit the ball high and it just went over our keeper who was off his line at the time. apart from a shot later on that was all our goalkeeper had to deal with the entire game. we had 2 goals dissallowed one for apparently crossing the line when it hit the crossbar and went up then came back down goalside(theoreticaly the ball going out then coming back in is impossible unless there is a force ten gale to blow it back in or the ball is made in the shape of a boomerang ie: it never went out full stop).we lost ryan clarke after a two footed tackle which he acknowleged when the referee produced red, however the referee failed to book one of their players who proceeded to threaten all and anybody around him that would listen. this however and NOT the red card held up the game for over five minutes. if the referee had taken action against this player it probably would of stopped the stupid spate of bookings later on which all seemed to stem from the very same player.this was a game of missed chances on our part that we need to address as well as learning not to react to provocation which was what we had to put up with the whole game including from their linesman. the end result is we miss out on the next round of the division 6 cup (whooppee).
