Well !! What a fantastic game ..... but don-t take my word for it. The Wythenshawe Amateurs manager said that it was their -best game of the season-! Well done to both sides for a great game than flowed backwards and forward. Everybody was a star and played their own part in the game:
Melvyn - MORE superb saves, one in the last period was Premier League class!!
Dan - Style and composure on the ball, raiding down the left.
Sam - 2 crunching tackles and loads of clearances when we were under pressure
Ollie - Great headed clearances coupled with (at least) 2 classy runs through midfield.
JJ - As usual bossing attackers almost twice his size - superb drag backs too!
Mazz - Words fail me - ANOTHER hat trick. Dead ball mayhem when she lines it up!
Drew - Man of steel in midfield - superb linking up with ..........
Tom - 3 goals came from Drew and Tom linking down the right - Tom-s was a net buster!
Ben - Pulled their ace defender all over the place - supported back in defence too!!
Let-s forget the score line - this was a top performance all round and it was a privilidge to have watched it - thank-s guys.
