well what a fantastic start to the day the first match was, it was awesome.

A big thanks to Mike in the training ground for working so much on moving into space and passing the ball well.

we had a good turn out of 9 players for the JJB this week and everybody wanted to play all the time which is a great feeling as the manager. we started of with lots of flowing football and pushed Unicorn athletic into their own half for most of the match and peppered their goal with dozens of shots. Marc`s goal was that powerful it nearly left a hole in the back of the net which was great to see as he is usually in defence. next to score was Johnny with a great display of individual skill that we saw so much of last season and followed up by a great goal celebration. The third came from Max another usual defender working his way up the field to slot one under the keeper.

this was probably the best team display of the season so far with endless running from the likes of Liam, Jack and Nico. as usual Tom made no mistakes and was solid in defence with Max. James had a great game in nets and was much better than his dad ever was.
Daniel made some great skillfull passes along with Jack to make an overal great team display

the next game was a suprise to have played so well in the first match to get beaten 2-1 by a very physical side in the second. there were lots of complaints of fouling and swearing by Benchill which put us off our game.

we play very attractive football and am not interested in tough little battles with physical teams at the moment, you will have plenty of time for that when your older!!!

the 3rd game was another fautless display, if Brazil were watching that game they would want to change their team colours to the same as ours..

we scored 4 goals and it could have been much more, it was really dificult to decide who should stay on and who should come off as you all played so well.
we have to keep this momentum up as we can beat anyone when we play this good.

sale hadnt been beaten for 20 matches and we completely dominated the game. Jack made some really big tackles again and the best part of it was that he had team mates behind him in support. Liam ran his heart out again and is probably the most upset when its his turn to come off. Max made some good moves up the field and is always keeping his eye on their attackers, Tom is always getting involved and reads the game well.
Nico makes good runs down the line and scored a great goal along with Liam, Jack and Johnny. Marc, James and Daniel worked well in midfield and supported the forwards very well.
All i ever want as manager is for all the lads to give a 100% and you certainly did that on saturday and you should all give yourselves a pat on the back
