Stretford Fail To Read The Script !

A final day of the season loss at the hands of a strong Stretford team who clearly didn’t realise that as our last game as Nomadians we should have won!

A fine sunny day saw us line up at Chorley Hall Lane for our last game of the season.

In traditional style we conceded a goal within the first two minutes. Unusually though we then continued to concede a goal every 7.5 minutes.

Stretford are a difficult team for us to play and we did keep trying and generated quite a few chances which was important. The change around of positions worked quite well and gives us options for next year.

Not our greatest game, and not perhaps the high we wanted to end on. The score certainly did not reflect the fact that we have had our best league performance in 3 seasons â€" some of the football late last year was of a very high standard indeed.

I’m already looking forward to next season ….trust you are as well !
