SUMMER SOCCER SCHOOLS

PH Soccer is running fun packed, game filled, prize giving soccer days for girls and boys of all ages at Blake Hall sports club from 10am till 3pm throughout the summer. The day will consist of football games and matches with prizes and fun all supervised by qualified coaches. Our tuck shop will be open but a pack lunch will be needed when we break for lunch at 12noon. WE NEED NEW PLAYERS

Aldersbrook Athletic is currently looking for new players for the up and coming season 2006-2007. Players of all abilities are welcome and U10 and U11 goalkeepers are a priority. Our teams range from Under7 all the way up to Under16 so please do not hesitate to contact us.

GOALKEEPING LESSONS

It is clear that our top flight league is dominated by goalkeepers from overseas, Italy, Germany, Australia and America to name a few. The development of keepers in these countries is taken very seriously and the earlier goalkeepers can be positively influenced the better.

PH-Soccer is now offering a fantastic opportunity for young goalkeepers to learn new or fine tune existing skills required to develop into a competent and confident goalkeeper.

All sessions professionally stuctured as follows:

Warm up inc ball familiarity

Technique work: These practices are designed to improve technical performance and knowledge. Games. Each session will finish with high tempo goalkeeping games. Topics covered Basic handling, diving techniques, 1v1, crosses, distribution and reaction work. Also beat the keeper and penalty comps!

The Coach for these sessions will be Martin Edwards who has great experience working with young goalkeepers at Spurs , QPR, Middlesbrough, Leyton Orient and in the USA. Martin is currently working at Fulham's Academy.
