Finally ! A sunny warm day at Altarnun.

Alts dominated this one from start to finish and played some of their best football of the season (even though the Duchy League received a report of a poor game ??? - must have played in a different one).

Chris Jowitt took the gloves as Alts were out of fit keepers & won the MOM award following a rock steady performance, a clean sheet and a couple of nifty saves. Matt Bryant returned to a much improved defensive display.

Alts went ahead midway through the first half when Steve Lee latched onto through ball (and finally stayed onside!) to lash the ball past the keeper. Steve Luscombe-s cross (poor shot) picked out Wayne Mackney to slip in Alt-s second for a 2-0 half time lead.

Steve Lee-s in-swinging corner was met by the leaping salmon that was Ian Luscombe early in the second half to put the game out of sight for the visitors. Steve Lee finished it off with a crisp left foot shot on the turn shortly after to complete a 4-0 win.
