Altrincham FC Juniors was formed in May 2007. Previously Hale Barns United, which was established in 1971, Altrincham Juniors was founded in response to a desire from Altrincham FC to develop a junior section.
As well as running boys teams from under 8 through to under 17 in the Timperley and District JFL, the club also runs several girls teams and also runs a Saturday club for kids aged 5-8.
The club attained FA Charter Standard Status in 2007.
