A hard fought final game at KTL today vs a confident Taz Cruisers side, which would decide who would finish third. Taz started much brighter than the home side and deservedly took a two goal lead at half time. Alveston looked strangely out of sorts and after a stern team talk, they started the second half in a much more determined mood. Tom managed to pull a goal back quickly by drilling one just under the keeper. Alveston now looked more focused and started to break with more speed and after a cross from Mark, Harry R coasted in at the back post and squeezed his shot under the keeper. Both teams had half chances to win, but the draw was a fair result and means that the team finished third.
