The Colts faced this seasons League Champions at home in their final Divisional Cup fixture.
After a frantic opening few minutes the Colts took the game to the visitors playing some lovely passing football.
The visitors seemed rocked as the Colts wouldn't let them settle on the ball and carved out a number of good chances.
Shortly before half time Santos were awarded a penalty but it was put wide to see the half end 0-0.
The Colts continued to carve open the Santos defence early in the 2nd half but a mixture of good goalkeeping and wasteful finishing saw the score remain goalless.
Santos then ,somewhat against the run of play, were awarded another clear cut penalty which they converted to go 1 up.
This gave them the confidence to start and put the Colts under pressure and shortly afterwards they added a 2nd. 
The Colts then finished on the front foot but just couldn't find the net.
Despite the result it was a positive performance against the B League Champions and the Colts showed the quality football that we know they are capable of.
Great effort today lads and plenty of positives to build on for next season.
