Venue Directions: From M3 : Exit Junction 4a, follow
A327 signposted Farnborough (Fleet/Cove).
Approx 1 mile from the Motorway you will
come to a r/bout, take first exit signposted Farnborough and down a short
distance to Pyestock r/bout, take first left. Go past Nokia Offices on left to small r/bout, go round and come back on yourself and turn left into Kennels Lane.
Go past entrance to Fleet Spurs FC to end to r/bout. Take second exit (right) into Ively Road, signposted Aldershot/Fleet (A323) and keep on this road till end for approx i mile. At r/bout take first exit which is a private road and shown as a dead-end. This is Old Ively Road. travel to the end , turn left and then right into the car park. Clubhouse in front of you.

Amesbury Town Football Club have terminated the services of manager Tony Craven with immediate effect. Glen Butterfield has been appointed as the new manager.
Amesbury Town Football Club would like to thank Tony for all of the hard work and dedication in his time as manager and wish him well for the future.

Amesbury Town FC named Team of the Round
in The FA Carlsberg Vase First Round Proper
Amesbury Town FC are celebrating this week after winning Team of the Round in the First Round Proper of The FA Carlsberg Vase, taking home a commemorative plaque and 20 tickets to the final to boot. They also get four crates of Carlsberg to toast their achievements.
Robert Key, Salisbury MP, will present the team with a plaque as they face East Cowes Victoria AFC at Recreation Road on Saturday (28 October).
The team, who beat Thame United 4-2 at home, play in the First Division of the Wessex League (Step 6 of the National League System). Thame United are in the Premier Division of the Hellenic League (Step 5 of the National League System).
Amesbury Town Secretary Tony Hinchcliffe said: “I’m delighted with our performance so far in the round. Thame Utd are a good team and in a step higher than us, but we could have easily made it 9-2 if we’d taken all our chances. While we’ve yet to win a league game this season, we’re playing our best in cup games. “
The next FA Vase match is going to be tough against Corsham as they are the current leaders of the Western Premier League (Step 5) and we’re going to have to play very well to get something from the game. Having said that, the two teams we’ve beaten in the competition so far have both been Step 5 so we’ll see. While we know our limitations, we always aspire to the best standard we can possibly achieve.”
The last time the club got to the Second Round Proper in the competition was in 1982/3, where they went out on the second replay. They went as far as the Third Round Proper in 1979/80, but lost to Hungerford 2-4.
Amesbury Town are due to face Corsham Town at home on Saturday 18 November in The FA Carlsberg Vase Second Round Proper.
Steve Clark, Head of Competitions at The FA, said: “Amesbury Town have played exceptionally well in the Vase so far, beating two teams who are above them in the National League System. We’ll all be watching to see if they can keep this high standard up and go all the way to the final.”
The FA Carlsberg Vase is now in its 33rd season with 490 clubs around the UK vying to step into Nantwich Town’s boots and lift the Vase on Saturday 12 May 2007.
Prize money is awarded at each stage of The FA Carlsberg Vase: in the First Qualifying Round, each winning club is awarded £500, rising to £6,000 for the semi-finalists and £15,000 for The FA Carlsberg Vase winners.
Carlsberg Sponsorship Controller Gareth Roberts said: “Carlsberg are proud of our long standing association with The FA's non-league competitions. It’s an integral part of our business and Carlsberg is privileged to be main sponsor of The FA Vase, FA Trophy and FA Sunday Cup.”

The FA Carlsberg Vase
The FA Carlsberg Vase effectively replaced The FA Amateur Cup in 1974 when The FA Council decided to abolish the official distinction between ‘amateur’ and ‘professional’ footballers. The competition is open to clubs at Step 5 and below in The FA National League System that meet the minimum ground criteria. Clubs at Step 1-4 can apply to enter The FA Carlsberg Trophy.
In addition to any television/radio fee payments that might apply, The FA has a prize fund for match winners. Each winning club is awarded £500 at the First Qualifying Round, £600 at the Second Qualifying Round, £700 at the First Round Proper, £1,000 at the Second Round Proper, £1,200 at the Third Round Proper, £1,500 at the Fourth
Round Proper, £2,000 at the Fifth Round Proper and £4,000 at the Sixth Round Proper. The semi-finalist winners will be awarded £6,000 while the winners take away £15,000.
As The FA Carlsberg Vase reaches its conclusion, there will also be individual prizes awarded for the semi-final Player of the Tie, and also a Man of the Match Award at the final.
The semi-final players will each receive a plaque and two crates of Carlsberg, whilst the final’s Man of the Match will be presented with a Vase, two crates of Carlsberg to share with their team-mates and an official Matchball in a presentation case.
To acknowledge some of the more unsung members of clubs around the country, The FA and Carlsberg are also awarding prizes to the best club match programme. Clubs who enter The FA Carlsberg Vase can send in a copy of their match programme to The FA, and a judging panel will choose a winner who then will not only receive two crates of Carlsberg for themselves, but also be given four hospitality places at the Vase final.
