GREAT WEATHER, GREAT FOOTBALL, GREAT DAY by Neil Dunford

  Sunday 9th September saw the inaugeral Avon Security Football Tournament take place at Bonnymead Park, hosted by Amesbury Town FC. Six under 16 teams from the Mid-Wilts League met up in an invitation pre-season friendly tournament which saw some really good football played, all in a good friendly spirit. Salisbury City eventually ran out winners on the day, but the real winners were everyone connected with all the teams as they all made the day very enjoyable. Here's looking forward to next season!
