Annfield road motors were started in 1984 by John Brown Snr but for their first season were known as sardys and joined the Dundee Sunday Welfare League, the following season the name was changed to ARM due to sponsorship. The team was almost for its entirety made up of players from the Beechwood area of Dundee although this was not a pre-requisit.The first couple of seasons for Annfield was barren as they adjusted to life in competitive football, thereafter it was almost an honour a season for the beechwood club, after almost 20 years in the helm John Brown decided to step down in the midst of season 2003/2004.Parvaz Khan, who would watch Annfield as a youngster and also turned out as a player stepped in to fill the void.
In season 2004/2005 he was joined by his former co-manager of Violet amateurs Billy Mclanders, the Annfield still currently ply there trade in the Welfare Premier Division,The team colours are all Yellow with red trim(home) and all Navy (away), The Home set of strips are sponsored by The Last Tram Lochee high st Dundee Derek Leslie and Ian Stewart of ID Construction Sponsor the away kit, Annfield are also sponsored by The Last Tram, High Street Lochee & Global Security.the current roll of honours for the Annfield is as follows.
