Formation of Club

The Club was formed in 2003 as Boots & Laces FC, by Rod Martin, following the break up of his R & B Allstars side.
In their first season the club achieved the 'double' of Div 2 Champions and Challenge Cup winners,whilst also reaching two other Cup Finals. The Runners up spot was attained in the club's first season in the top Division.
The name Applebys FC was adopted in 2005 after a change of Sponsor and Home base.After a mediocre 2005/6 season Applebys achieved the 'double' of Div 1 Champions and Challenge Cup winners in 2006/7 and repeated the feat in 2007/8
Competition

Applebys FC have been Champions of The Torbay Sunday Football League (twice) and Bill Matthews (Challenge Cup) winners (3 times) having won the league and cup 'double' twice in successive seasons. The club also achieved the 'double' of Div 2 Champions and Bill Matthews cup winners in it's inaugaral season but fell at the last hurdle in two more finals;
The Club also competes in the Devon County Sunday Senior Cup and has thus far achieved 3 semi final appearances.
