Arches were formed in 1997 as Cathedral Arches playing in the MASFL.
We became Arches in 1998 and since then we have never finished outside the top 3 in whatever division we have been in.
We play across South Manchester.
We joined the MPSL in 2002.
We were the first adult male club in Greater Manchester to acheive the Charter Standard Adult Award.
2004 / 06, We won the First Division ,
2005/06 we won the Premier Division, Paul Myers Cup and Silver Jubilee Cup.
2006/07 We won the Premier Division and the Paul Myers Cup for the second year in a row .
2007/08,We finished top of the prem on goal diffrence ,but lost a play off game to Sale , we got to the finals of the Paul Myers Cup ,and the North west Charter Standard Cup , losing in both finals .
With 6 of the team hanging up there boots we have decided to move leagues and begin the rebuilding of the team ,
We are going back to the MASFL .
We are staying at our new ground in Carrington, and are hoping for funding for the up soming season.
