ABOUT THE CLUB

-30-11-2007- FIXTURES UPDATE - All fixtures for december are now added.

-28-11-2007- NOT A TOP 'DRAW' PERFORMANCE - This sunday saw aspect throw away a 2 goal lead, and end up drawing 2-2 with bottom of the league Hollies Utd. Aspect once again started nervously but began to find their feet as the game developed. Aspect lead 1 nil at half time. Chris Johnsons scored his 1st goal of the season after missing out through injury, put Aspect 2 up 15 minutes into the second half, but a quick fire double for Hollies after a lapse in the Ducks concentration saw them pick up what could be a valuable point for them, but a damagin loss of 2 points for Aspect.

-20-11-2007- CHANGE OF FIXTURE - This weekend was supposed to be a home fixture for Aspect vs table topping AFC Verwood, but due to cup fixtures Aspect are now away to lowly Hollies Utd. Aspect will be hoping for a repeat of the 7-2 thumping they gave Hollies earlier in the season.

-11-11-2007- REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY, PERFORMANCE TO FORGET - Aspect secured 3 points with a poor display over a poor Fox and Hounds side. The ducks started nervously and F&H had a handful of early chances. Fairbs injured his hand after falling awkwardly making a routine save and had to be replaced at half time.
HT 0-0
Nick Gillingham donned the number 1 jersey for the second half. Joe Moody netted his 13th goal of the season from a James Mankee corner. F&H equalised 20 minutes from time and the game looked to be heading for a draw, until a break down in communication caused the F&H goalkeeper and his defender to collide and that left a easy finish for Phil Dixon. Slotting into an empty net from 6 yards.

-4-11-2007- NEW FORMATION, SAME RESULT - The second meeting so far this season, ended in the same result as the previous league fixture. Aspect set out with a 3-5-2, an attacking move by manager Chris Johnson. Aspect took the lead through a volley from Steve Mutton. Burns quickly replied after a header from a corner deflected off Phil Short's head before finding the back of the net. Joe Moody put the home side back in front with a brilliant solo effort, twisting and turning on the edge of the box before firing past the helpless keeper. But just before half-time after a breif lapse in concentration by the Aspect defence, a Burns striker was able to power through before shooting low past Fairbs. HT: 2 - 2 FT: 2 - 2
