Welcome to the home page for Assandun Viking Girls FC.

Assandun Vikings are a Charter Standard football club formed in 2002 to provide opportunities for girls and ladies to play football in a female friendly environment. Vikings proudly boasts being the single female only football club in the region, offering progression from mini soccer through girls football and then to ladies football.

Based in Ashingdon, we have over 60 girls training between the ages of 6, through to 18. In the 09/10 season we have teams playing at U11's / U15's / U16's / U18's.

Our sister club Assandun Vikings Ladies provide the next step in football development and play in Division 2 of the Essex County Womens League.

The club has seen players progress to represent Aresenal Centre of Excelence, West Ham Ladies, Leyton Orient Centre of Excellence, Colchester United Centre of Excellence and Essex County Schools.

Training is held on Saturday mornings at Clements Hall sports fields and is run by FA qualified coaches who are all CRB checked.

We are always looking to welcome new players to boost existing squads and to join our development programme. Anyone interested is welcome to come along to any training session or to contact any member of the committee or team manager.
