This was the season the team was created by some lads and were called Gunnelswood FC which were placed straight into divison 2 of the H.S.S.F.l. myself Alan Bellott joined the team a few games into the season which we then took over and brought in our own lads. We finished bottom of the league and got relegated into division 3.
After being relgated into Division 3 last season We changed our name To Athletico Timebridge FC we started this season off really well we sat mid table after a few wins then we got kicked out for playing ilegiable player so that was this season over with just like that. was a big shame as the team had improved so much from the last season.
After the C.S.S.F.L let us back in the league we thought we had built a great team with alot of the Timebridge vets joining we had enough players to field 2 teams but as it was that was only on paper with 27 signings we struggled to find 11 players on a sunday and played many games without a full squad. Well we finished another season yet again as the bottom team. Hopefully we will have a team to build on next season
After the last 3 season's we won nothing got kicked out and re-devoloped the team and the management that was here two years ago, It has all totally changed we have always enjoyed playing even when losing all but 1 game last season, and now we signed Joe Delasalle and Terry Lock and a couple of other good signings other teams have reconised us and praised us and as i have been in the running of this team since we took it over from the original team called Gunnelswood we have come a long way we have been through thick and thin but always everyone looked forward to playing us to help there goal difference now we hope other teams look forward to playing us for a challenge. Clearly at this point in the season there are 3 teams who are looking good and for once we are one of them and am looking forward to see the outcome of this season
It was a great season for Athletico Timebridge, winning the division four title and also reaching the quarter final of the KLM Cup.
Every single player can be very proud of themselves and very proud of their team.
It took until the final game of the season to be confirmed as the league winners, but in the end a 2-1 win over Stevenage Colts Old Boys Reserves was enough to clinch it.
The team lost just one league game all season.
Towards the end of the season the club changed its name to Athletico Peartree after a new sponsorship deal was announced. Next season the club are looking to win the division 3 title.
