Good comeback today lads, continuing our decent form of late.


To be honest the first half was pretty poor and defences were on top for both sides. The only real thing of note was Aaron out running their right back and getting a shot on goal and CC Tops' managing to get in a couple of nutmegs. The skills of CC bring rapturous applause from the sidelines.


We should have started the second half with confidence but for some reason we seemed a little out of sorts and we were scrapping rather than playing. After about 15 mins a mistake while defending a corner and we found ourselves 1-0 down while really not deserving it. A change around and CC going into goal and Craig coming out on pitch and although we did concede almost immediately we were playing better football and created a few more chances. The goal had a bit contention about it with suspicion of offside.


However, we did not give up and kept going, some good interplay in midfield set Lewis free and he slotted under the keeper with about 10mins left. We had pretty much all the play from then on but couldnt quite get the equaliser until some good work from Craig saw him in on goal and although I am not totally convinced won a penalty that Kenny despatched without too much effort.

Not enought time to get a winner but a great comeback anyway.
