BAE WARTON FC

This is the Website for BAE Warton Football Club. We play in the Lancashire Evening Post Sunday Football league. Our home ground is on Bank Lane Sports ground in Warton. We train once a week on Wednesday evenings. Our training ground is at Kirkham Grammar school.

After match clubhouse facilities are provided at the Lightning Club. The club provides training & insurance for members, and has an interesting social calendar.

The Sunday League is well managed and the football is of a high standard and very competitive. We always welcome new Players.


Match Day:

Home Games

9:50 - Collect keys from Gym
9:55 - Unlock gates and pavillion. Turn on showers
10:00 - Hang up kit
10:05 - Pump up match balls
10:10 - Fill water bottles
10:20 - All members of team arrive
10:20 - Team gets changed
10:30 - Manager completes team sheet and delivers team talk.
10:40 - Everyone out on pitch together for co-ordinated warmup.
10:45 - Manager delivers team sheet to referee.
10:50 - Captain's team talk.
11:00 - Kick-off
12:45-1:00 - Full Time.
1:00 - Pay referee, collect scorers names from opposition
1:20 - Assuming no one else is using the pavillion, turn off showers, lock door and gate.
1:25 - Return keys to gym
1:30 - Everyone to pub for beer and crisps.
Before 2:00 - Phone result and scorers in.

Away Games

10:20 All players arrive at venue
10:20 - Team gets changed
10:30 - Manager completes team sheet and delivers team talk.
10:40 - Everyone out on pitch together for co-ordinated warmup.
10:45 - Manager delivers team sheet to referee.
10:50 - Captain's team talk.
11:00 - Kick-off
12:45-1:00 - Full Time.
1:10 - Hand scorers names to opposition
1:30 - Everyone to mutually agreed pub for beer and crisps.

Team sheet to be sent to league to arrive by following Wednesday.

RULES:

LEAGUE MEETINGS:

All players are expected to attend one League meeting per season. One meeting is held per month. Failure to attend will lead to the club receiving a fine, that fine will be passed on to the players who failed to attend the meeting.

Meetings begin at 8:00 at Acregate Lane Labour Club. To get to the venue take New Hall Lane heading out of Preston, turn left onto Acregate Lane. The club is on the right hand side.
