Under 9's 2008/09:
The lads eneterd Division One after being promoted the season before. They were also the proud winners of the Tysoe Tournament.
The jump to the the elite Division was an experience for all the lads.We played against some well established and well drilled sides.
Although we dropped back to Division Two all the players showed great committment to the club.
The desire to work as a team over the year will surely pay dividends this coming season.
Well done for staying positive and focusing on the game.

We have now competed in this league for a number of seasons with teams ranging from U8 to U16. The teams have had varied success winning league titles and cup competitions. The club has been very successful in end of season 6 a side tournaments.
The club is moving forwarding in a very positive manner. We have had in the past various players moving on to higher football with the Coventry City Accedemy. We wish all these players all the best of luck in the future.

As the junior part of the club got stronger we eventually became league champions of our age group in 1997 /1998 season (see photo’s). To move the club forward we looked for a stronger league to compete in. We joined the Cherwell and district league based in the Bicester area. We then joined the Woodford and district league which played teams mostly in around the Daventry area.
By this time the junior part of the BIAFC was going from strength to strength. The club had teams from all age groups competiting for most league titles and cups.
Our under 13’s side swept the board winning the league, league cup, woodford challenge cup and the fair play award. The same team in the following year completed at U14’S swept the board again beating our closest rivals at the time Drayton Grange( Daventry)
The following year we had to play in the Northampton league due to the Woodford league folding. The travelling in this league provided to be to much of a strain so we only played one season in this league.
In 1996 after a chance conversation (in St Patrick’s Irish Club Leamington Spa) with Mr Ken Price who at the time was manager of the Banbury Branch of Somerfield supermarket who offered to sponsor a junior football team. This was the beginning of the junior side of the BIAFC.
We entered a boys team into the three counties boys league. With a lot of hard work we eventually won our first ever junior competition in the Shipston Invitation 6 a side football tournaments (see picture)
