Ben Blackburn joined Bare Rangers like the majority of the squad as a young 5 year old reception school boy but was proudly plucked from our grasps (much to Manager Martins Dismay & Delight in equal measures!) at an early age by his namesake club Blackburn Rovers. What an amazing and extremely proud achievement! There he has stayed and progress through the ranks but has been immensely loyal to good ole Bare and trained and supported whenever he hasn't commitments with his own team. He has travelled with Dad to away games, tournaments and his unwavered support has been unbelievable a real credit to him! 2011/12 Grimey awarded him "clubman of the year" trophy-well deserved! He is great mates with everyone, and although shows us his silky skills (which the lads admire!) he fits in well and deserves his own Player Profile!! All I can say is Morecambe High School Year 7 Footie Team is gonna be awesome!!! Lads, get his autograph now as this lad is going to go far! Thanks for your support-Bare through & through. Although being another Manc he is likened to Scholes in his midfield role-in more ways than 1, saying this Ben is a much better tackler!
