Our Club

Bare Rangers is a Junior Football Club plying its trade in 2 leagues, the Lune & District Junior League & the Lancaster & Morecambe Service to youth League. The club was formed in 1995 by a couple of keen dads whose sons wanted to play football for a team. From the humble beginings at Salt Ayre, then moving to the surrounds of Great Wood and Torrisholme Primary Schools the club has grown from strength to strength.

We now stand at 2 U8 Teams, 2 U9 Teams, 3 U10 Teams and 3 U11 Teams in the Lune & District League.
In the Lancaster & Morecambe League we have 2 U12 Teams, 3 U13 Teams, 2 U14 Teams, 3 U15 Teams and 1 U16 Teams.

Outwith these teams we have between 40-50 kids train on a Thursday night in the reception, yr1, yr2 ages,

We have been involved with Projects outwith the club, Burton In Kendal Youth Club, Winning Back the Westend, Poulton Ward Regeneration Scheme, coaching yr 7 girls at Morecambe High.
We are now a Charter Standard Develpment Club and our next step will be to become a Charter Standard Community Club and the addition of a Girls and Adult team.

We have in recent seasons had ex players go on to earn professional contracts at Morecambe.

We have a club link with Blackburn Rovers, the future is looking good for Bare Rangers and we hope to move forward year by year.
