| Season of Change |
| The 06/07 Season started off with high hopes under the leadership of Ben Boldy. The squad started of with a string of decent results. The winter period brought the teams best run of form. The Barrow ground stood up well during htis period while other Clubs had games called off Barrow managed to play and this saw the team rise to the top of the League. This form and run of events continued into the new year, but, the end of January saw a huge turn in fortune and the Club lost most of the games in Febuary. This was also at the time that manager Ben Boldy announced his decision to leave the Club due to Personal Reasons. The team conitued to plough on, but, some in consistant results saw the team drop down the positions as other teams started to win their games in hand. March saw the Team announce that Michael Stevenson would be taking over as manager after his brief spell involved with Leicester City Ladies FC. The team finally finished the season in 5th place, though, many of the teams performances warranted a top 4 place and it was inconsistancy and injury of key players that cost the team in the end. Stevenson took over the reigns at what was the end of a very up and down, enthralling season. |
