Baysgarth Old Boys will be competing in Division 2 of the Scunthorpe 'Fallen Hero' Sunday League this season.

The MK:Dons of Sunday League; Baysgarth's first season was in Division 3 having replaced the folding AFC Pumas (also a Barton based club). The debut season was a great success with Baysgarth finishing in second place and reaching the semi-final of he divisional cup.

As an additional bonus, Baysgarth will also be competing in the Lucozade Sports Performance League this season. Participation rewards team with a sponsorship package which includes free Lucozade; a free kit (orange and fudge!!); as well as media coverage.

In October 2009; Baysgarth Old Boys were the TALKsport team of the month with players being interviewed on national radio! During that month the team were also put through their paces by Emma, a Sports Scientist from the Lucozade Sport team. The session was so demanding that a couple of players were unavailable for selection at the weekend!

With a large, talented and dedicated squad, the hopes and expectations are certainly high. The future is bright; the future is orange (and fudge!).
