(01/09/2008) Next match. (01/09/2008)

W&DFL SD4:
**********

The next match will be at home against The Raven on Sunday, 07/09/2008 in the Worcester League.

All players need to let Colin Brown know of their availability by 9:00pm on Friday 05/09/2008 and (those who wish to be considered for selection) need to be at Sling Lane by strictly no later than 9:30am on the morning of the match.

The Raven FC's first choice colours are: Blue & Black striped Shirts / Black shorts / Blue socks. As it is the home team that must change colours if a clash occurs, Beauchamp Victoria will be wearing either our second choice kit (black/white striped shirts) or even our third choice kit (light blue shirts).
We will most likely be wearing the first choice Blue kit.

(03/08/2008) Early season programme 2008/09. (29/05/2008)

EARLY SEASON ************ The confirmed date of first match is SUNDAY, 31st August 2008. This will be away to Worcester Bosch. (For the first seven weeks worth of league fixtures see 'Fixtures & Results' section) Due to the number of cup competitions that Beauchamp Victoria FC will be involved in and the strict eligibility rules governing player participation in such games it is the intention of the team manager that all members of the squad play (either as a starter or by entering play as a substitute) in at least two matches within the first four/five league matches. If there are no early season midweek matches to be played then the committee will endeavour to organise a series of midweek friendly matches against Malvern Football League teams to keep those players within the squad not getting sufficient game time engaged and enthusiastic. These friendlies will cease to be playable due to the encroaching dark nights by mid September unless the club/players wish to incur the expense of floodlit facilities. KEY DATES ********* Friday, 20/06/2008 - Summer Solstice (longest day). 10:30am Sunday, 31/08/2008 - Confirmed start date of 2008/09 Season for Worcester & District Football League (Sunday). 2:00am Sunday, 26/10/2008 - Clocks go back.

(29/05/2008) Annual Subscriptions: (29/05/2008)

ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION (£20.00) Each player must pay an annual subscription of £20.00 (non-refundable) prior to signing a Worcester & District Football League registration form on behalf of Beauchamp Victoria FC. This is broken down into the following categories: Club administration contribution = £15.00 This is a general contribution to the season’s running costs of Beauchamp Victoria FC. Club Membership fee = £5.00 Becoming a member of Beauchamp Victoria FC will allow players to attend all official meetings and also to stand for election to the committee and, if desired, a administrative position such as Chairman, Club Secretary, Treasurer, etc. Footnote: Colin Brown will not be required to pay a Membership Subscription due the fact that he is owed a far larger sum of money by the club from previous seasons. Sponsors will be given free membership of the club as a small token of our appreciation of their financial support. Les Beale will not be required to pay a Membership Subscription as he has been invited onto the committee in an advisory capacity to aid Beauchamp Victoia FC’s transition from the Malvern Football League to the Worcester & District Sunday Football League.

(29/05/2008) Match Day Subscriptions: (29/05/2008)

MATCH DAY SUBSCRIPTIONS (£4.00 per match) Match day subscriptions are charged to cover the cost of both the match day referee’s fee and also the cost of cleaning the kit in readiness for the following match. Any surplus remaining will be paid into the club’s bank account as a contingency fund to cover for any unforeseen expenditure. Each player (including substitutes) must pay £4.00 prior to taking possession of a playing kit. Some may consider this to be expensive but to play a half hour five or six-a-side match in an organised competition run on a weekly basis will cost £4.00 and over at any local leisure centre. Refunds of Match Day Subscriptions: If a player plays more than 65 minutes of a match then there is no refund/partial refund of their match day subscription. If a player plays more than 45 minutes but less than 65 minutes of a match then £1.00 of his match day subscription will be refunded. If a player plays no more and no less than one full half of a match then £2.00 of his match day subscription will be refunded. If a player plays more than 20 minutes but less than 45 minutes of a match then £3.00 of his match day subscription will be refunded. If a player either does not play any part of the match or plays less than 20 minutes of a match then £4.00 of his match day subscription will be refunded. Non-Payment of Match Day Subscriptions: No player will be allowed to go more than two matches worth of match day subscriptions in arrears. Any player that does miss two consecutive payments of match day subscriptions will be given the option of either paying the arrears owed (Between £2.00 and £8.00 depending on the proportion of the two matches played in) plus a fine of £4.00 or otherwise to pay their arrears and to also pay in advance for the following three matches (£12.00 less any refunds due at the conclusion of those three matches – see ‘Refunds of Match Day Subscriptions’) in which case no fine will be levied. After which the player in question will be allowed to return to paying their match day subscriptions on a match-by-match basis again if they so wish. Any player failing to satisfy either of the two above remedies will not be allowed to play for the club again whilst others players, more up to date with their match day subscriptions, are available for selection.

(29/05/2008) Team / Player Insurance: (29/05/2008)

The Committee have taken the decision not to purchase insurance cover for the coming season (2008/09). Therefore the committee advise all players to personally take out the relevant level of personal injury insurance on a private basis. The cheapest accident insurance cover available (for 11 players plus 5 substitutes) is at a cost of £70.00 per season. This cover would be minimal and would only provide any player making a successful claim with £10.00 week and even then will only be activated two weeks after the injury occurs/is reported. The club does not need to provide team insurance as a requirement of being a member club of the Worcester & District Football League and although there is a small third party insurance cover provided through affiliation to the Worcestershire FA any payment made against this is believed to be minimal.

(29/05/2008) Player Fines: (29/05/2008)

Any fine incurred by a player (or manager/coach) is the sole responsibility of the individual concerned to pay up in full. BEAUCHAMP VICTORIA FC will accept no responsibility for the settlement of any such fines levied by the Worcester& District Football League or the Worcestershire Football Association.
