This match was re-arranged and played on the 1st April 2012

We were away at Leyburn for this fixture and started really well with a goal in the third minute. A great corner came in and was met by Brodie who firmly hit the back of the net.
Two minutes later and Brodie was in the right place again and had another shot, this time though he was denied by a good save.
One minute later and Hugh had a shot on target, he hit it hard but the keeper was in the right place and saved it well.

We were attacking again after 6 minutes but this time Leyburn broke and scored at the other end, leveling the game at 1-1.

12 minutes in and Leyburn get a penalty for a strong tackle in the box. Josh goes the right way but doesnt reach it, 2-1 to Leyburn.

Within the next ten minutes Leyburn, who have the momentum at the moment score a further 2 goals, going in at half time with a scoreline of 4-1.

In the second half Bedale again started strong, with both Hugh and Brodie taking shots but not scoring.

5 minutes in and Bedale are attacking again after Josh kicks the ball straight into the Leyburn box, James gets a shot in but it is pushed over by the keeper. What do we have to do?

10 minutes in to the half and we give away another penalty, Josh gets to the ball but its a stretch and it still goes into the corner to extend the scoreline to 5-1.

Overall a very spirited performance by the boys, and if one or two of the early shots had gone in it may have been a different game.
