Our club has been busy working behind the scene preparing for the start of the 2008/9 season. Keep an eye out on announcements and information relating to your team.
CHARTER DEVELOPMENT CLUB: We are proud to announce that the club has now gained its Charter Development status and has committed itself to developing itself even further in its aim to become Bedford's top club.
SENIOR FIRST TEAM: Luke Capon from Stevenage and formely manager of Buntingford Town has officially taken charge of Bedford FC's first team and has made changes right across the squad bringing in no less than 10 new players. " It's a new start for this club and I can see the potential this club has. My aim is to get it's first team at a level where it would compete with the best similar leveled local teams by the end of the season and then plan for an exciting 2009/10 campaign early on. With the youth policy this club has, there is no reason why this club should not progress leaps and bounds in the following few years ahead. I hope I can be part of that transformation. ". It seems as though he may already have done the trick with the team, as they look to be playing some great football recently. Watch this space?
