Hello everyone, John Bedford chairman / manager of Beechwood youth football club; the club was formed in 2003 I started off with cleveland juniors, then went on to Riveside Rovers at which point i decided to run my own club with a lot of help from Chris Ord the T.J.F.A league secretary. I started off the first season in 2003 with one team the under 10's; we had 1 girl in the team at time we formed and she stayed with us until she was 11 and has gone on to play for Middlesbrough Academy and is still going strong.
I also had another member of the team who has gone to play for Darlington Football club ,, and is being looked at by some premier team clubs. Two of my current team members have been with me since they were 5 years old , and they still enjoy there football with the club; the team are now under 16's. The next season came and we had another team join us which were the under 15's they were managed by Mr David Turner, they were runners up in there league in the first season under Beechwood. Since then we have had more teams join the club we now have 8 teams in total=

The club has a welfare officer,, child protection officer,, and all managers and coaches are all first aid trained. We would like to say a big thank you to Mark Hawkins and Teeside University for their help of us getting the pitches at Saltersgill Sports Pavillion.
