The club was formed in May 2006, when Stuart Sinclair and Alex Johnstone were asked by Brian Christie if we would be willing to 'manage' the boys and get them playing development football.
Playing in the under 12's age group, the boys played in the ESSDA league. The league is based on developing players and playing teams at similar levels of ability. There are no trophies or competitions in ESSDA.
The boys progressed to playing competitive football in the Lothian Buses South East Region - Division 4, eventually finishing 4th in the division.
The club membership had grown considerably, so it was decided to form two teams, with the younger boys forming a new team at their own age group for the next season.
Now have two teams playing, one at under 14 and the other at under 13 age groups in the Lothian Buses South East Region.
The under 14's, due in part, to their 4th place finish the season before and teams folding, played in division 3. A tough season lay ahead, ending up bottom and relegated to division 4 at the end of the season!
The under 13's had quite a successful season in division 4, finishing up in 3rd place. They also reached the Polar Foods Cup Final, narrowly losing in extra time, 5-4 to Hunterfield BC.
The club were also awarded the SFA Quality Mark Standard Award in December 2008.
The club grew considerably, with the formation of under 12's, 11's & 10's playing in ESSDA.
A girls team was also formed.
Under 14's finished as division 4 champions. They also won the three division 4 league cup competitions. The Edinburgh Cup being the first piece of silverware for the trophy cabinet. The Trophy and Glass Cup, and the Star Trophy were quickly added to the silverware haul!!
Under 15's finished 4th in division 4.
