Beesotted 5 Elmwood Royals 10
Beesotted hosted a 15 goal thriller in the end of season game which at times resembled a school playground game.
Coming from 4-1 down to 4-3, the game was up for grabs in the early part of the 2nd half, before wayward keeper Rob Balson failed to get back in his goal from attacking positions twice, to allow Elmwood to ease to victory.
Ryan Bellchambers opened the scoring for the home side, with a 40 yard effort, from the right touchline, before ex-Beesotted star Chris Hogan hit back with 4 goals for the visitors.
Will Boye gave the Brentford fans side hope with a goal just before half time and with some fresh legs on the pitch, Boye added his second early in the second period.
Rob Balson's moment of madness then allowed the Elmwood side a pass into an empty net before Hogan added his 5th and 6th of the game. Balson, then switched to an outfield role and gave away a penalty for 8-3.
The home team hit back with a scrambled goal from a corner and a super solo effort but the fianl score ended up 10-5.
Beesotted finish as League One Runners Up.
Man of the Match Will, Ross, Danny or Ryan - I don't know, just hope Jason Byron's suit fitting went well.
