This was Benchill-s first game of the Brooklands Dragons tournament. Having Played Hale United 2 weeks earlier before this competition we we-re looking forward to playing them again as Hale united we-re a good match for us last time around.

Benchill started slowly in this game and it soon paid divident when we fell 1-0 down. We we-re unlucky to get caught on the counter attack from a Benchill Corner and a excellent finish from the Hale united striker into the bottom left corner down the other end.

After the goal the Benchill-s players heads didn-t drop and they started coming into the game more and more. Kayden launched a shot from outside the area which came of the crossbar and cleared away. Mckenzie had 2 shots cleared of the line and Mckenzie also hit the post in the dying seconds.

The ball would not go in for us in this game and Benchill felt hard done by in this excellent game of football. The score stayed 1-0 to Hale united.
