BERE ALSTON UTD CHAMPIONS OF THE DUCHY PREMIER LEAGUE 06/07

Bere went to sticker this week to play what was there last league game of the season and a win would have sealed the title. Bere started of like a steam train in the first half and goals from Lee Blatch and Daniel Pethick gave them a 2-0 half time lead. Sticker came out in the second half with the wind in there favour and ten minutes in they scored twice with in minutes to level the game 2-2, Sticker drafted in some first team players and bere were glad they did as stickers centre back directed Adam Reids shot in to the bottom corner with 10 minutes to go to give Bere the Premier League Title.

Bere celebrated in style at sticker, with fire works going off in all directions and champers on ice as they collected the League Cup form the League, a Happy sticker team stayed in the changing rooms as this was going on and Bere would just like to say, thanks for being good sports.

BERE ALSTON UTD TEAM OF THE DAY
- for winning the championship of the Bodmin Trophies Duchy Premier League with a 3-2 win away to Sticker with goals by Lee Blatchford, Daniel Pethich and Adam Reid.



BERE SET FOR THE DOUBLE ...

Bere won there quater final match at Pensilva 2-0 on what was a rocky pitch, goals came from Darren Wolley & the in form Will Westlake. Bere Will now face Lamerton in the quater finals on Monday 30th april in Langsford Park.



CHAMPAGNE STILL ON ICE ...

Bere Alston Utd are just one game away from being crownd Duchy Premier Champions, They have to travel to Sticker in two weeks and if they win will see the club move into the Cornish Guardian.

Injury News -

Chris Truscott could be out for the rest of the season with what looks like a broken wrist which he picked up in the home game against St Newlyn East.
