Bergholt Heath YFC was formed in 1999 to provide an opportunity for the youth of West Bergholt to play football and 2010-11 sees the Club entering it's 12th season in the Colchester & District Youth League. The Club is running 4 teams for the 2012-13 season - one each in the Under 8-10, 14, and 18 age groups. Most of the players are from the village but players from outside West Bergholt are also accepted.
The teams train on Saturday mornings at Poors Field in the village, this is also where the 4 teams play their home matches on a Sunday. The club's main sponsor is "ASSIST".
