To answer many questions regarding the club badge. The three items on the badge, 1. A colliery winding tower, a Shuttle and a wheat sheaf.
These represented one time main industries of the Biddulph area. Coal mining which ceased in the mid to late 80's. Cloth weaving which ended decades ago and of course farming. There are still a few farms in the area but producing meat rather than arible farms.
