This year’s annual football tournament will take place on the May bank holiday weekend, 31st May - 2nd June 2013.

The ‘Blues’ has run many successful tournaments at its Sandymere ground, situated right on the edge of the beautiful Devon coastline.

Many local teams enter annually, but we also welcome touring teams looking for a different challenge against new opposition.

The tournament will cover all age groups, unless entries will not allow, we will advise beforehand should an age group have to be cancelled.

Bideford Blues & Appledore JFC annual 6 a-side Tournament has been confirmed as the 1st, 2nd & 3rd June 2012, of which is the Queens Jubilee weekend.

The club has successfully run youth football tournaments for many years, with local clubs and touring clubs entering.

The club holds the tournament at its Sandymere ground, which overlooks the panoramic views of Northam Burrows and Bideford Bay.

Dont miss out on your entry as spaces in each age group will be limited.

Its that time of year again, the summer months are looming and the annual tournaments are being confirmed. Bideford Blues & Appledore Junior FC have announced that their annual youth tournament will take place on the weekend of June 10th - June 12th. The club has successfully run youth tournaments for many years, along with local clubs and touring clubs entering. 6 a-side Youth Tournament 2010 [10 Jun @ 10:00pm]

Entries for this year’s Tournament were down from previous, however we hope the teams that did come and take part enjoyed their games and the facilities that Sandymere now has to offer. The weather was kind again this year, with no rain over the 2 1/2 days of football that was played, if anything a stiff breeze made you think that it was cool whilst all along you were catching the suns rays and getting sun burnt, there were a few red faces on Saturday one way or another!!! We changed some items this year with different people taking on different roles within the group of volunteers, extended use of the astro pitches being one and the fixtures placed on the large screen in the clubhouse being another to mention, this was a first and hopefully made it easier for all to see what was going on in all age groups, however as with all new things improvements could be made and we will work on this for next years event. It was good to see teams from all over the county playing our local teams, as it gives the boys/girls a great opportunity to play different opposition. Also to all the teams, coaches and parents for coming along and taking part in our annual event. Also to the players and families of WBB YFC [U15’s], for there generosity and friendship during the evening of Saturday 12th, watching the England game in the Club with some of our committee.
