ABOUT THE TEAM

Manager Ben Sutton is the man in the Bidford 1st team hot seat and he has assembled a much fancied squad during the pre-season break.

To add to established Bidford players such as Ryan Ellis, goalkeeper Lee Rogers and Alex Banks, Sutton has managed to secure the signatures of Midland Combination veterans Richard Hughes, Adam Wood and Tom Coles who come part of the influx of former Ettington players including Scott Sutherland, Sean Brent, Greg Castle, David Geden and Kevin Ward.

The former Stratford Spartak manager has also completed the signings of Jamie Davies and Ben Huckfield from nearby Ilmington Revolution.

Former Ettington skipper Tim Green will retain the armband in the new look Bidford 1st team.

Competition for places will no doubt cause Sutton many headaches, however much is expected of this much fancied squad
