A bruising match for both sides ended with Billingham coming out on top for a second time this season against Seaton Carew B, their previous encounter being in the first round of the TJFA league cup.

With two goals already disallowed Town must have felt it would not be their day when Seaton took the lead with a sharp finish from inside the box.

However they stuck to their guns and deservedly drew level on the stroke of half time with the second goal in two games for Adam Highfield. (Ghosting in ala Martin Peters for those of you old enough to remember)

The second half proved to be a tale of two Craigs as firstly defender Alex
popped up in the box to finish like a centre forward and then Stewart continued his impressive scoring run showing great determination in a 50/50 challenge with the keeper to then slot the ball into the empty net. No leaping salmon here Simon but his goal was just rewards for his severe ‘battering’
