Our final league game of the 2011/2012 season saw us play Nine Acres in a rearranged match played at salters Road.
We again started slowly and didnt really get into the game when Nine Acres took the lead after 10 minutes from a corner that we failed to defend. We gradually got back into the match and started creating a number of chances but were unable to hit the target. Jaz Camara got us back in the match when he beat the keeper to a through ball from Lewis Wren and scored the equaliser to make the half time score 1:1.
We played much better in the second half enjoying more possession and as the match went on we created a lot of chances. Lewis Wren put us in the lead when he slotted the ball past the keeper. Jaz Camara completed yet another hatrick with a header from a Ollie McArthur corner and a placed shot from iside the area. Ollie McArthur completed the scoring when Lewis Wren broke clear of the Nine Acres defence and set him up for an easy finish.
We were unlucky to not add to the score with Tommy Jackson, Dominic Douglas, Louis Day and Jack Love all having shots on goal. Jake hayward had a particuarly good game on the left hand side of midfield.
A great finish to the season as we achieved 50 points and were the first team to finish all their fixtures. We can hopefully enjoy some tournaments in the next few weeks.
